11/29/2017: Assailants abducted 'Umar Musa Muhammad Abu-Darb near Al-Birth, North Sinai, Egypt. Abu-Darb was killed and his body was discovered on December 5, 2017. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Sinai Province of the Islamic State and stated that the victim was accused of working with security forces.
