02/27/2018: Assailants attacked a police checkpoint in Shah Wali Kot district, Kandahar, Afghanistan. At least six police officers were killed and five officers were injured in the incident. This was one of two coordinated attacks along the Kandahar-Uruzgan border on the same day. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
