Incident Summary:

04/28/2018: Assailants abducted Ahmad al-Akhras and Rami al-Ruslan, photojournalists, at Ain Al-Zarqa spring east of Darkush, Idlib, Syria. Al-Ruslan was released the following day and Al-Akhras was released on May 24, 2018. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham.
