Incident Summary:

10/12/2018: Assailants attacked an internally displaced persons (IDP) camp in Hajin, Deir ez-Zor, Syria. At least 20 assailants and several Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) members were killed in the ensuing clash. Additionally, nearly 700 people were abducted from the camp and their whereabouts are unknown. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
