01/20/2019: Assailants hijacked two oil tankers on the road connecting Shibirghan, Jawzjan to Mazari Sharif, Balkh, Afghanistan. Four people were abducted in the attack. The outcome of the kidnapping is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban and noted that the victims were accused of having links with the Afghan government.
