02/16/2019: Assailants opened fire on a military checkpoint south of Arish, North Sinai, Egypt. At least 11 soldiers and seven assailants were killed and four other soldiers were injured in the attack. The Sinai Province of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident.
