02/18/2019: Assailants abducted civilians on the outskirts of Raqqah, Syria. This was one of two related attacks in Syria on the same day. At least 107 people were kidnapped across both incidents and their whereabouts are unknown. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
