02/21/2019: Assailants abducted the president of the North West Chapter of the Cameroon Association of English Speaking Journalists, Ambe Macmillan Awa, in Bamenda, North-West, Cameroon. Awa was released several hours later. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected the involvement of separatists.
