03/30/2019: Assailants opened fire on a police patrol in Al-Mazari, Yathrib, Saladin, Iraq. Major 'Abbas al-Musawi, commander of the 3rd Regiment of the Federal Police, and a Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) member were killed and one police officer was wounded in the attack. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
