Incident Summary:
04/07/2019: Security forces identified and intercepted four assailants on their way to carry out an attack in Qatif, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. As security forces approached their vehicle, the assailants threw a grenade and opened fire on them. Two assailants were killed and two security personnel were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.

Criteria
Criteria 1

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
