05/27/2019: Assailants attacked a village in Chaghcharan district, Ghor, Afghanistan. At least 18 police officers were killed and seven others were injured in the ensuing clashes. This was one of two related attacks in Ghor on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
