Incident Summary:

06/13/2019: An explosive device detonated targeting security personnel responding to a previous attack in Kaldar, Balkh, Afghanistan. At least two people, including a pro-government militia member and a police officer, were killed, four security personnel were injured, and the assailants sustained an unknown number of casualties in the attack. This was one of two related attacks in Balkh on this date. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
