Incident Summary:

07/31/2019: Assailants attacked an outpost for federal police in Samarra, Saladin, Iraq. At least one police officer was killed and one was injured in the attack. This was one of two incidents in Saladin on this day. No group claimed responsibility for the attack; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
