08/25/2019: An explosive device detonated targeting the vehicle of Amin Sheikh Elmi, the former secretary of Banaadir Regional Administration, in Hodan, Mogadishu, Somalia. Elmi was killed in the blast. This was one of two related attacks in this district of Mogadishu on this day. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the incident.
