Incident Summary:

09/20/2019: Assailants abducted one doctor and two nurses at Vukaka Hospital in Mususa, Butembo, North Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The two nurses were released a few hours later and the doctor was released the following day, on September 21, 2019. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources suspected that the attack was carried out by the Mayi Mayi.
