10/10/2019: Assailants in Syria fired a mortar that landed and detonated in Birecik, Sanliurfa, Turkey. At least two people were injured in the attack. This was one of four related incidents in areas bordering Syria on the same day. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
