12/07/2019: Assailants attacked security forces in the Awsaj valley near Khanaqin, Diyala, Iraq. At least five people, including three police officers and two soldiers, were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
