01/13/2020: Assailants opened fire at Kamuthe Primary School in Kamuthe, Garissa, Kenya. Three teachers were killed, one teacher was abducted, and one child was injured in the attack. The outcome of the kidnapping is unknown. This was one of three coordinated attacks in Kamuthe on this date. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the incident.
