02/13/2020: Assailants armed with knives attacked civilians in Gambau, Extreme-North, Cameroon. At least nine people were killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected the involvement of Boko Haram. Sources noted that the victims had gone to search for a group of missing women who had gone to collect water.
