02/23/2020: Assailants fired an unknown number of rockets, some of which were intercepted by the Iron Dome Missile Defense system, over Ashkelon, Southern, Israel. There were no reported casualties in the attack. Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was carried out in retaliation to the killing of a senior group member.
