03/22/2020: Assailants attacked a federal police checkpoint southwest of Kirkuk city, Kirkuk, Iraq. There were no reported casualties in the attack. This was one of two attacks targeting federal police in Kirkuk on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
