04/07/2020: Assailants opened fire on a Philippine Army patrol performing COVID-19 outreach in Aguilan, Panuran, Iloilo, Philippines. In addition to an unknown number of assailant casualties, one soldier was killed in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
