Incident Summary:

04/24/2020: Assailants detonated an explosive device and opened fire on a police vehicle carrying personnel of the Department of Social Welfare and Development and local officials in Rizal, Masbate, Philippines. At least one police officer and one government official were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
