Incident Summary:
05/19/2020: Assailants opened fire on worshipers inside a mosque in Khalazai, Parwan, Afghanistan. At least 11 people, including the imam, were killed and 5 other people were injured in the assault. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban, which denied involvement. Sources also suspected that the Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State may have carried out the attack.
