Incident Summary:
05/29/2020: An assailant armed with a kitchen knife attempted to stab a police officer outside the City Hall building in Temple Terrace, Florida, United States. The assailant was shot and killed while one officer was injured in the attack. The assailant was identified as Heba Momtaz Alazhari. Her brother, Muhammed Momtaz Al-Azhari, had been arrested five days earlier. In a reconstructed note found at her residence, she stated that she wanted to carry out a jihad in revenge for the arrest of her brother.

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
