Incident Summary:

07/04/2020: Assailants ambushed security forces and Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) members escorting civilians between Domboa and Maiduguri. on Domboa Highway, Konduga, Borno, Nigeria. Nine soldiers, including the Operation Commandant of Youth Volunteer (CJTF), and 13 assailants were killed and many more were wounded. Three members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) were missing following the attack and their whereabouts are unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
