Incident Summary:

07/13/2020: Assailants opened fire on a military convoy along Maiduguri-Damaturu road, Auno, Borno, Nigeria. Two soldiers were killed and two were abducted in the attack. Both hostages were rescued the following day. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Al-Barnawi (Islamic State West Africa Province – ISWAP) faction of Boko Haram.
