07/13/2020: Assailants opened fire on a military convoy near Kumala, Borno, Nigeria. Eight soldiers were killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Al-Barnawi (Islamic State West Africa Province - ISWAP) faction of Boko Haram.
