07/22/2020: Assailants attacked villagers and attempted to force them to dig up roads in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh, India. At least two people were killed and 15 others were injured when the villagers rallied against the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist).
