07/24/2020: Assailants identified a non-commissioned military officer and forcibly removed him from his taxi in Qatiya, North Sinai, Egypt. The officer was killed in the incident. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Sinai Province of the Islamic State.
