Incident Summary:

07/31/2020: Assailants opened fire on a military patrol in Taung, Sulu, Philippines. At least nine people, including three soldiers and six assailants, were killed and three soldiers and an unknown number of assailants were wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG).
