08/01/2020: Assailants opened fire on a Rescue 165 ambulance along National Highway in Sitio Stockpile, Dumarao, Palawan, Philippines. At least one nurse was killed and the driver was injured in the assault. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).

Criteria 1

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
