08/04/2020: An explosive device detonated against a police vehicle in Alam Khel, Balkh, Afghanistan. At least five police officers were killed and two others were wounded in the blast. This was one of two related incidents targeting Balkh on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
