09/02/2020: Assailants attacked an army patrol responding to a previous attack on a road construction project in Datu Ito Andong, Kalamansig district, Sultan Kudarat, Philippines. One soldier, Corporal Wilson Caguimbal, was killed. This was one of two related incidents in this area on this day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
