10/15/2020: An explosive device detonated targeting a United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) vehicle near Anefis, Kidal, Mali. An Egyptian peacekeeper was killed and another peacekeeper was injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected the involvement of Muslim extremists.
