Incident Summary:

12/20/2020: An assailant assaulted Esther Hurgan with a rock near Tel Menashe, West Bank. Hurgan, an Israeli civilian, was killed in the attack. Mohammad Maroh Kabaha, a Palestinian extremist, claimed responsibility for the attack. Authorities stated that Kabaha carried out the attack to avenge the death of a friend who fell ill and died in an Israeli jail. Sources noted that Kabaha initially planned to attack Israeli soldiers, but gave up on that plan after discovering that he could not afford a weapon.
