Incident Summary:

12/29/2020: An explosive device detonated targeting a convoy of hunters recruited by the Nigerian army to help with security in Kayamla, Borno, Nigeria. The hunters were responding to an earlier ambush of a convoy of fellow hunters. At least nine hunters were killed and seven others were injured in the blast. This was one of two related attacks near Kayamla on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
