Incident Summary:

03/14/1988: Members of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) dressed in military uniforms attacked villagers in Galmitiyawa, Sri Lanka. Fourteen people were killed in total. Soldiers nearby heard the shooting and entered the village. When the soldiers were spotted, the rebels fled.
