10/16/1994: In a series of three related attacks, Roy Ray Martin, El Trevino Muniga, and Ricky Rivera Muniga lured Melvin Johnson, an African American, to their car in Lubbock, Texas, United States and shot him. Melvin Johnson died from his wounds. The perpetrators hoped to incite a race war.
