03/03/1998: Unidentified assailants shot and killed two male friends, a Protestant and a Catholic, who were in a bar in Poyntzpass, Northern Ireland. Two others were injured in the attack. Officials suspected that the assailants were members of the Continuity Irish Republican Army (CIRA).
