Incident Summary:

03/05/1998: The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) detonated a land mine as a truck carrying Naval troops passed over it in Nainamadu, Sri Lanka. This attack was an attempt to free some of their comrades. The attacked killed nine, injured five, and damaged the truck.
