Additional Information According to the Basque news agency Vasco Press, the name Alfonso Parada Ulloa had appeared several times on hit lists seized from ETA assassination squads. Ulloa had taken part in several anti-terrorist operations during his career as a civil guard. ETA claimed that it wanted to show that Interior Minister Jaime Mayor Oreja was wrong when he said that the organization only had the Donosti commando unit left.
