Incident Summary:

5/17/1998: Unknown perpetrators, believed to be affiliated with the Islamic insurgency in Algeria, detonated a roadside bomb targeting a vehicle driving near Saïda, Algeria. Following the blast, the assailants machine-gunned those inside the vehicle. In total, two Algerian civilians were killed, three others were wounded, and their vehicle was damaged.
