08/27/1998: A bomb packed with nails exploded in a garbage can during morning rush hour at Allenby Street and Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv, Israel, injuring 21 people. The blast shattered several windows and scattered debris over several blocks in the downtown area. There was no claim of responsibility for the attack.
