Incident Summary:

11/17/1998: A female Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) suicide bomber detonated explosives strapped to her body near a military convoy at the Gendarmerie Command in Hakkari's Yuksekova District, Turkey. Five people, including four non-commissioned officers and a child, were injured in the explosion. The bomb was made of TNT mixed with bullets.
