03/23/1999: A German engineer and a Swiss engineer were kidnapped from El Cairo Cement Works in Antioquia, Colombia. The Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) were blamed for the kidnapping. The fate of the hostages was not known.
