Incident Summary:

03/27/1999: Seven people were wounded when two perpetrators threw a bag of explosives at riot police in Istanbul, Turkey. One of the perpetrators was killed in the attack. Following the bombing, police questioned whether the attack was a suicide bombing. No group claimed responsibility for this attack.
