04/05/1999: A suicide bomber from the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), identified as Baki Tatli, targeted Bingol Governor Suleyman Kamci using an explosive device in the Bingol province of Turkey. Two were killed, the bomber and a teenage girl, but the governor escaped unharmed.
