05/03/1999: Armed men attacked two civilian vehicles on the road linking Luanda and N'Dalatando in Angola. The vehicles, not traveling together, came under fire near the Barraca railroad stop. Eyewitnesses said that National Union for the Total Independence of Angola (UNITA) soldiers were responsible for the attack.
