Incident Summary:

05/07/1999: A perpetrator detonated a homemade pipe bomb in a Catholic couple's house in the city of Belfast in Northern Ireland. The attackers painted the religiously hate-filled message of "taigs out" on a window of the house following the bombing. While no group claimed responsibility for the attacks, local authorities suspected loyalist perpetrators in the attack.
